What is Physiotherapy?

Physiotherapy is education and therapy used to treat physical symptoms caused by injury, aging, disability or health conditions. Improvements in physical function, mobility and well-being are the result of physical therapy treatment. Physiotherapists teach patients how to manage symptoms and avoid future injuries. We are primary care providers, so no referral is required to book an appointment with us!

Physiotherapy (or Physical Therapy) builds strength, increases range of motion and corrects maladaptive movement patterns in the body. These changes lead to long-term pain relief and improvements in quality of life.

Physical Therapy is a natural alternative for patients who may have tried other temporary (e.g., prescription drugs) or more invasive methods (e.g., surgery) to manage their condition. Our physiotherapists use individualized therapeutic exercise, manual therapy and other treatment techniques. We are passionate about patients getting better permanently – not just feeling better temporarily.
