Gord Routledge has just completed training in kinesiotaping. This multi colored “stretchy” tape is used to improve muscle function, improve circulation, reduce pain and support joint function. It is a wonderful adjuct to physiotherapy and can ease the transition of getting back in action, or allow you to continue with your activity while experiencing less pain. Kinesiotaping techniques can be used for all sorts of injuries including: neck pain and tension, headaches, back pain, patello femoral pain, osteoarthritis, rotator cuff injuries and impingement, achilles tendonitis, If you are interested, give us a call at (403) 278-0705


We are so lucky to have such a great team of therapists and support staff here at Bonavista Physiotherapy. We would like to welcome new team member: Carly who is a registered massage therapist. Carly is an enthusiastic, kind and empathetic person who is skilled in neuromuscular techniques, deep tissue and Swedish massage. She is also trained in Reiki and is certified in Touch for Health which is applied kinesiology. We are excited and pleased that Carly is now part of our professional team eager to provide our clients with the best possible care.
